Mathews BOE seeking applicants

VIENNA

Mathews Board of Education is seeking applicants to fill the board position vacated by the resignation of first-term member Brian Stidham on Jan. 11.

By law, the board must name a replacement within 30 days of Stidham’s resignation.

Applicants must be registered voters and residents of the school district. Applications are available at the school board office, 4434B Warren-Sharon Road above Cortland Bank. The deadline for submission is Feb. 1.

The applicant chosen for the position will serve through 2013.
