Free program to offer skin-care tips

The ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital Healthy Woman program “Have a Skin-tastic New Year” is set for 5 p.m. Jan. 25 at Elm Road Medical Park, Building C, 2662 Elm Road.

Featured speakers are board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Peter Sarkos and board-certified radiologist Dr. Roger P. Tokars.

Learn about ways to care for your skin all year. A variety of displays will be available.

Ohio workers’ comp appoints new officer

COLUMBUS

Stephen Buehrer, administrator and CEO of Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, announced the appointment of Christopher Carlson as the bureau’s chief actuarial officer. Carlson will set employer premium rates to cover the cost of care for Ohioans injured on the job. He previously worked 15 years as actuarial officer for Nationwide Insurance.SClB
