Warrant issued

WARREN

Warren Municipal Court has issued an arrest warrant for a 23-year-old Lane Drive Southwest man in Thursday’s homicide on Third Street Southwest.

The warrant, which charges Daron Warfield Jr. with murder, was filed Monday, according to court records.

Warfield recently was released from prison after being sentenced Feb. 24, 2011, to nine months for cocaine possession.

He also was sentenced in October 2010 to six months in prison after being convicted in Trumbull County of carrying a concealed weapon and heroin possession.

The murder charge stems from the shooting to death of Domin’Que L. Hugley, 21, of Saratoga Avenue Southwest. Hugley’s body was found in the yard at 796 Third Street Southwest after an apparent robbery.

Both Hugley and Tyrone L. Dorsey Jr., 21, of Northwest Boulevard Northwest, were hit by gunfire on Third Street Southwest. Dorsey drove away and contacted police, and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
