Katie Santor fired in 14 points for Jackson-Milton (8-4) which scored 25 points in the second quarter for a 34-23 lead at break. Mathews (1-11) got 17 points from Dajna Ellis and trailed just 42-41 entering the final quarter.

Anita Brown scored 31 points and pulled down 14 rebounds to lead Warren Harding (7-4). Brian McCurdy added 18 points and eight assists for the Raiders, who trailed 30-25 at halftime. Harding outscored Firestone 23-14 in the third period for a 48-44 advantage entering the final period.

Abbie Frank scored 15 points and Poland shot just under 50 percent (18 of 37) from the field. Liz Suess and Anny Brenoel had four rebounds each, and Rachael Robertson added three steals for the Bulldogs (9-3), who led 20-11 at halftime. Katherine Stiff finished with 12 points for Salem (4-9).
