DeWeese aide pleads guilty in Pa. corruption case
HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — A district aide to state Rep. Bill DeWeese is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to conflict of interest and criminal conspiracy.
Sharon Rodavich entered the plea today in a Harrisburg courtroom.
Rodavich agreed to cooperate with prosecutors who are bringing a public corruption case against DeWeese.
State prosecutors said she supervised the Greene County Democrat’s day-to-day campaign efforts in his southwestern Pennsylvania home base and rarely reported to the district office where she was assigned.
Rodavich faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.
