910 reservists return from SW Asia mission

VIENNA — More than 140 members of the 910th Airlift Wing are scheduled to return home near 2 p.m. today. Others will return on Wednesday.

The reservists are assigned to the flying and maintenance squadrons at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station here. They are returning from a 120-day deployment to a forward operating location in Southwest Asia in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

The citizen airmen provided support to airlift operations to various military installations through-out the U.S. Central Command Area of Operations.

The primary mission of the 910th Airlift Wing is to deliver personnel and cargo by airdrop and air-land techniques anywhere in the world as directed.
