South Range Middle School PTO is seeking vendors for its second annual craft show scheduled for March 10. Tables can be rented for $25 by calling 330-533-6509 or by emailing kmckee@southrange.org. The application process must be completed by Feb. 25.

FUNDRAISERS

Junior Women’s League of Canfield is hosting a Wine and Beer Taste from 3 to 5 p.m. Jan. 29 at Vintage Estates Wine & Beer on South Avenue, Boardman. Proceeds will benefit the Down Syndrome Association. The event includes eight wine or beer tastes plus a variety of refreshments. There also will be a basket auction. Tickets cost $20 and must be purchased in advance by calling Diane Smythe at 330-503-8202.

NIGHTS AT RACES

St. Nicholas School will have a Night at the Races/Touch of Vegas for adults over 21 on Feb. 11 in the Great Hall, 766 Fifth St., Struthers. Admission is free, and refreshments and food will be available. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and races begin at 7. A Texas Hold’em tournament will be at 4 p.m. in the lower church, featuring a $50 buy-in with 25 percent rake and an extra 500 chips for those who preregister at cncpoker@att.net or www.saintnickevents.com. Menagerie Thrift and Gift Shoppe, 6037 E. Market St., Warren, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The store sells clothing, furniture, books, antiques, collectibles and Christmas items year round. All purchases benefit Animal Welfare of Trumbull County, a nonprofit organization. Boardman Rotary’s Relay for Life Team is sponsoring a bus trip to Rivers Casino on March 3. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. The cost is $30 with $15 in free play plus a $5 food voucher. The bus will leave at 11 a.m. from the rear of St. Nicholas Hall in Struthers and return at 7 p.m. Make checks payable to Boardman Rotary Relay For Life Team and mail to Jeff Janci, 3170 Highland Ave., Poland, OH 44514. Relay for Life, Team Rachel, is sponsoring a trip to Mountaineer Casino on March 10. Boarding begins at 9:30 a.m. and the bus will leave at 10 from the parking lot of St. Edward Church, 240 Tod Lane, Youngstown. Departure time from Mountaineer is 4 p.m., arriving back at the church at 5. Reservations can be made through Diane McNally Bassetti at 330-518-2850 or Ron Britt at 330-545-2495. The cost is $30 per person.

Trumbull County Travel Club is accepting reservations from the public for a one-day trip Feb. 11 to the I-X Center in Cleveland to “Jump Into Spring” at the Cleveland Home & Flower Show. The bus will leave the Niles Kmart parking lot at 10 a.m., and the estimated return time is 7 p.m. The cost is $46. The bus will stop for dinner (your cost). Members of TCTC meet three times a year to plan and review trips; there are no club fees or dues, but you must be 21 or over. The next meeting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. March 6 at Panera Bread on Elm Road, Warren. The meeting will be a presentation by Wendt Tours for the club’s Adventure of a Lifetime to Yellowstone National Park and Mount Rushmore from June 22 to July 2. The itinerary is available on request.
