Stephanie Day, Michael Kozak set wedding date

LAWRENCE, KAN.

Stephanie Lorain Day and Michael Pieter Kozak, both of Lawrence, Kan., are announcing their engagement and plans to be married this summer.

Randall and Carolyn Day of Petersburg are the parents of the bride-elect, and Michael Kozak of Youngstown is the father of the prospective groom.

The couple have chosen July 21 for their afternoon wedding at the Oread Hotel in Lawrence, where a reception will immediately follow. Invitations will be extended.

Miss Day earned a bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University and master’s from the University of Kansas, where she is working toward her Ph.D. She is a graduate teaching assistant in geography at the University of Kansas.

Mr. Kozak earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from YSU. He works as a programmer for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in Lawrence, Kan.
