Couple plan cathedral setting for Sept. nuptials

The parents of Jaclyn M. Serich of Niles are announcing the engagement of their daughter to Thomas L. Williams of Girard.

The bride-elect is the daughter of John and Cynthia Serich of Poland. The prospective groom is the son of Cheryl Williams of Girard and the late Mickey Williams.

St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown will be the setting for the couple’s 2 p.m. open ceremony Sept. 8. Invitations will be issued for a reception in their honor at Antone’s Banquet Centre in Boardman.

Miss Serich received a bachelor’s degree in respiratory care from Youngstown State University. She is a sleep technician at St. Joseph Diagnostic Sleep Lab in Warren.

Mr. Williams also graduated from YSU and is employed as a police officer there after earning a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
