Agencies jointly plan annual benefit gala

St. Vincent de Paul Society of Mahoning County and Knights of Columbus Bishop Fenwick Council 13586 will jointly sponsor a Valentine’s Day fundraiser the evening of Feb. 11 at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center, 7440 South Ave.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7. The theme for this year’s event is “Open Your Hearts for the Less Fortunate.” Proceeds will support the Society’s Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry and the charitable works of the Knights.

Tickets are priced at $50 per person and include hors d’oeuvres, filet mignon buffet dinner, dessert and a chance to win cash prizes. There will be live and silent auctions, a 50-50 raffle, a basket auction and a big-screen TV raffle. A disc jockey will provide music throughout the evening.
