Sara Wright of Hubbard and Randy Rair of Austintown were united in marriage during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony July 9, 2011, at St. Patrick Church.
The Rev. Timothy O’Neill officiated.
The bride, daughter of Raymond and Karen Wright of Hubbard, and the groom, son of Dale and Alice Rair of Austintown, greeted guests at a reception in their honor at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre in Niles. After a honeymoon in Cozumel, Mexico, they live in Girard.
The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a master’s degree in biology from Youngstown State University.
The groom earned bachelor’s degrees in secondary education and criminal justice from YSU. He earned a master of educational administration degree from Ashland University. Mr. Rair works as an assistant superintendent for the diocese of Youngstown.
The bride’s satin strapless gown featured a corset back, an angular beaded embellishment with sparkling Swarovski crystals and a pleated bustline.
Matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Alison Samuels. Bridesmaids, who wore black, were Lesa Rair, sister of the groom; and Melissa LaRosa; Angela Belanger; Michelle Durkin; and Mandy Ulicney. Kaitlyn Samuels, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.
Dale Rair, father of the groom, served as his best man, and groomsmen were David Ulicney, Sean Durkin, Edward Walsh, Sean Tyrell, Jerry Judeh and Todd Lange. Ethan Samuels, the bride’s nephew, was the ring bearer.
