Ohio to take case to execute Warren killer to U.S. Supreme Court

Attorney General Mike DeWine will ask the U.S. Supreme Court to reverse a lower court decision postponing the execution of Warren murderer Charles Lorraine.
DeWine and Gov. John Kasich announced the decision late Sunday, just days before Lorraine is supposed to make the trip to the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville for his scheduled lethal injection Wednesday.
It came a day after Trumbull County Prosecutor Dennis Watkins sent a letter to Kasich urging him and DeWine to move forward with the appeal.
