Phone service restored to Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley
YOUNGSTOWN — Land-line telephone service to the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, a homeless shelter at 962 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, was restored as of just before 6 p.m. today, according to an AT&T spokeswoman.
The mission had earlier issued a news release saying service was disrupted Thursday due to demolition activities at the adjacent Westlake Terrace housing project.
The Columbus-based AT&T spokeswoman, Holly Hollingsworth, said the disruption was due to the cutting of a cable.
The mission now can be reached at 330-744-5485.
