MVYP reveals 2012 board slate
YOUNGSTOWN
Mahoning Valley Young Professionals is announcing its 2012 board slate. This year’s board will include committee reorganizations and goals to grow membership and increase awareness. The new board was selected by the MVP nomination committee and accepted by the 2011 board at its Jan. 9 meeting.
In compliance with bylaws the board slate will be presented to the membership at large for a vote at the Jan. 19 mixer.
The event will take place at the V2 in downtown Youngstown from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and is open to members and nonmembers. In addition to voting for a new board, MVYP will be offering discounts on membership upgrades for social and silver members. MVYP also will present for the first time a new committee, MVYP G.I.V.E.S., which combines the charitable and education committees.

The Mahoning Valley Young Professionals is an organization dedicated to bringing people together who are living and working in the Mahoning Valley.
It provides monthly networking opportunities as well as educational seminars and charitable work.
MVYP is a member-driven organization that has attracted a wide variety of professionals, who represent a number of private businesses, nonprofit organizations and public institutions throughout the area.
