Keller plays in softball tourney

Canfield High School student Kayley Keller recently participated in the Queen of Diamonds North Tournament at Kent State University.

The Queen of Diamonds North Tournament is a National Softball Showcase in which athletes are picked based on academics, leadership and athletic ability. More than 2,000 applied and only 322 were invited to participate. There were players from six states.

Keller earned the game’s Most Valuable Player award and also was selected as First-team All Queen of Diamonds for her position. Keller plays center field for Canfield and also plays for Valley Extreme in the summer.
