Film “Who Will Wipe My Tears Away,SDRq to be produced in late April in the Mahoning Valley. Auditions will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday at 624 Oak St., Youngstown. “Grease,SDRq New Castle Playhouse, 202 E. Long Ave., New Castle, Pa. Auditions will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday in the Augustine Auditorium for those 16 and older. Be prepared to sing a one- minute vocal selection. You may provide sheet music. An accompanist will be available. Or you may sing a cappella or use an accompaniment CD; no vocal tracks please. “Greater Tuna,SDRq Salem Community Theatre, 490 E. State St., Salem, will have auditions at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. There are two roles for adult males (although females also may be considered) who will each portray about 11 different citizens of Tuna, Texas, including men, women, children and one yippy dog. “Distracted,SDRq Oakland Center for the Arts, 220 W. Boardman St., Youngstown, will have auditions at 5 p.m. Jan. 22 and 7 p.m. Jan. 23. Roles include two adult men, four adult women, one teenage girl and one boy, age 8 to 11. Auditioners will read from the script. Performances: March 16-31.
