ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital updates orthopedic unit

WARREN — ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital is renovating and updating its eighth-floor orthopedic unit with work expected to be completed this summer.

During the construction phase, orthopedic patients will be moved to another floor, hospital officials said.

The project is the first phase of the hospital’s master facility plan to modernize with a more-effective design and to enhance the level of care, service and convenience for patients, officials said.

The project got under way Monday with a ceremonial wall-breaking.
