Trumbull Co. youths urged to attend job-finding open house Thursday

WARREN — Young adults from Trumbull County are invited to participate in the Voices of Youth Committee open house and learn more about finding jobs, completing their high school education and obtaining public transportation from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and again from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at the YWCA in Warren, 375 North Park Ave.

The Voices of Youth Committee is chaired by the Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board. The group consists of various sectors of the behavioral health system in community, said Lauren Thorp, program coordinator.

“We meet monthly to identify gaps in Trumbull County’s social services system and to make sure that youth ages 16 to 24 do not fall through the cracks,” she said.
