New Valley Young Professions board announced

YOUNGSTOWN

Mahoning Valley Young Professionals has announced its new board, selected by the MVYP nomination committee and accepted by the 2011 board on Monday.

Natalie Lariccia, president; Lori Shandor, vice president; Mike Hermes, treasurer; Jake Breland, secretary and board development; Tony Spano, membership; Lauren Polinsky, marketing; Katie Seminara and Megan Kerrigan, MYVP GIVES; Lori Shandor, 40 Under 40; Josh Hiznay, social; David Pavlich, corporate liason; Adam Keck, webmaster; Sarah Ellis and Nicole Ramson, advisory members; and Beth Ann Tabak, ex officio.

In compliance with bylaws, the board slate will be presented to the membership for a vote at its Jan. 19 mixer, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 19 at V2 Wine Bar Trattoria in downtown Youngstown.

It is open to members and nonmembers.

In addition to voting for a new board, MVYP will be offering discounts on membership upgrades for social and silver members.

MVYP will also present a new committee, MVYP GIVES, which combines the charitable and education committees.
