WEDNESDAY
Pricetown United Methodist Church, 4640 Pritchard-Ohltown Road, Newton Falls, will serve a home-cooked dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults, $3 for children 6 to 12 and free for those 5 and under. The meal consists of sweet sausage and chicken cacciatore, linguini with provolone garnish, salad, roll, dessert and a beverage. Carryouts will be available.
THURSDAY
Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. Ext., North Lima, will have a drive-through chicken dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out). Dinners consist of stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. The cost is $6. Drive up to the door, and a volunteer will take the meal to your car. VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve spaghetti dinners with meatballs, salad, bread and coffee or tea from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Carryouts are $6.25.
FRIDAY
Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.
Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $5 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Hot Lunches will be available beginning at 11 a.m. Friday.
St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday. Cost is $5 per bag of one dozen (no containers necessary). Walk-ins are welcome. Patrons are asked to use the side entrance.
St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. Cost is $5 a dozen. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at 330-755-1316, and orders can be picked up beginning at noon. Frozen pirogi will be sold while supplies last. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. No walk-in orders will be available.
St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $4.50 a dozen. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. The cost is $5.50 a dozen. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 Friday, based upon availability. Walk-in orders will be available. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
SATURDAY
Fowler United Methodist Church, 3426 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, will serve chicken-pie dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Meals will include potatoes, green beans, applesauce, coleslaw, bread, dessert and beverage. Smith Corners United Methodist Church, corner of Kirk Road and Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, will serve an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The meal includes sausage and juice, coffee or tea. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under. Toddlers eat free.
SUNDAY
American Hungarian Club, 2219 Donald Ave., Youngstown, will serve chicken paprikash dinners from 1 to 3 p.m. Cost is $8 per meal of paprikash with homemade dumplings, green beans, and torte or kolachi for dessert. Reservations are required; call 330-792-5124. Takeouts will be available.
Fowler Volunteer Fire Department will have its monthly pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station, state Route 193. Prices are $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and $4 for children 6 to 12. Preschoolers are free.
The Men’s Organization of Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St., will serve a ham dinner from noon to 2 p.m. to benefit mission projects. Tickets will be sold at the door at a cost of $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. For more information call 330-876-4485.

St. James Episcopal Church, 7640 Glenwood Ave., Boardman, will have an all-you-can-eat cavatelli and polenta dinner, prepared by the original cooks from St. Rocco’s Episcopal Church, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The meal will include meatballs and sausage, tossed salad, Italian bread, beverage and dessert. The York Rite chili cook-off will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Youngstown Masonic Temple, 223 Wick Ave., downtown. The all-you-can-eat event costs $6, and there will be eight to 10 types of chili. Carryouts are available.

St. Nicholas Mom’s & Dad’s Club will have a roasted chicken dinner from 3 to 7 p.m. Jan. 28 at St. Nicholas Parish Center, 764 Fifth St., Struthers. Tickets are $8 for adults ($7 in advance at the parish office), $6 for students and free for children under 4. A hot dog and french fries will be available for $4.
