CRAFT SHOWS
South Range Middle School PTO is seeking vendors for its second annual craft show scheduled for March 10. Tables can be rented for $25 by calling 330-533-6509 or by emailing kmckee@southrange.org. The application process must be completed by Feb. 25.
FUNDRAISERS
Cowboys & Cops is a reverse raffle that will benefit the Youngstown Police Athletic League. The event will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Bedford Trails Restaurant, 713 Coitsville Road, Lowellville. Dinner will begin at 6, and there will be a cash bar and a basket auction. Be sure to wear your western outfit (flannel shirts, hats, jeans, boots, etc.).
SALES
Menagerie Thrift and Gift Shoppe, 6037 E. Market St., Warren, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The store sells clothing, furniture, books, antiques, collectibles and Christmas items year round. All purchases benefit Animal Welfare of Trumbull County, a nonprofit organization. TRIPS
Trumbull County Travel Club is accepting reservations for two one-day excursions planned for February. A trip to the Cleveland Home & Flower Show on Feb. 11 will leave the Kmart parking lot at 10 a.m. and leave to return at 4 p.m. The cost is $46. The bus will stop for dinner (your cost) at Applebee’s. On Feb. 18, the club will depart the Kmart lot between 3:30 and 4 p.m. for the Palace Theatre in Cleveland’s Playhouse Square to see a 7:30 p.m. presentation of “Dick Fox’s Golden Boys,” featuring Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell and Fabian. There will be a dinner stop (your cost) on the way to the show. The cost is $82 per person, which includes a ticket for main floor orchestra seating. Reservations for both trips must be prepaid by Feb. 1. Members of TCTC meet three times a year to plan and review trips; there are no club fees or dues. Plans for 2012 include excursions to Yellowstone and Mount Rushmore from June 22 to July 2. For additional information or to make a reservation, call 330-369-1898 or 330-856-5398.
Fancy 3 Travel Club has planned the following trips: Saturday to Mountaineer Casino for $25 per person, with $25 back in bonus. Load time is 5 p.m.; return at 11 p.m.; Feb. 18 to Rivers Casino for $30 per person, $5 in food, $20 in free play. Load time, 2 p.m.; March 24, The Meadows for $30 per person, $20 in free play.
