Bama leads 6-0 in BCS championship game

NEW ORLEANS — University of Alabama's Crimson Tide leads 6-0 over Lousiana State Unversity on the strength of two field goals in the BCS national championship game being played in the Super Dome here.

There is 4:18 left before halftime in the defensive struggle. LSU is rated No.1 and Alabama No. 2. Both schools are from the Southeastern Conference.
