Sunny Detwiler | T.C. Osman
NEGRIL, JAMAICA
Sunny Detwiler of Boardman became the bride of T.C. Osman of Austintown during an outdoor sunset ceremony July 18, 2011, in Negril, Jamaica.
The Rev. Joseph Campbell officiated over the exchange of vows taken by the daughter of Mark and Lori Detwiler and the son of Thomas and Mary Osman, all of Boardman.
Following the ceremony, the couple received congratulations at a reception in the Sea Song Hut at the Tensing Pen Resort in Negril.
The bride wore a strapless and tiered natural white gown of tulle featuring silk rosettes and a sash. Her attendants, wearing eggplant-colored dresses, were Sasha Detwiler, the bride’s sister, who served as maid of honor, and Leslie Becker, the groom’s sister, who was a bridesmaid.
Rick Becker, the groom’s brother-in-law, performed the duties of best man.
A postnuptial wedding brunch took place Aug. 28 at Avion on the Water in Canfield.
Mrs. Osman chose a trumpet-style gown with a halter neckline and lace overlay embellished with seed pearls, sequins and Swarovski crystals for this event.
The bride attended Youngstown State University and is manager and co-owner of Sunny and Sasha’s Consignment Shoppe in Boardman.
Mr. Osman, who is attending YSU, is a senior customer service representative for Turning Technologies in Youngstown.
After their wedding trip to Negril, the couple are making their home in Austintown.
