Megan Leann Pingley became the bride of Shawn Michael Gonzalez of Struthers during an afternoon ceremony Sept. 10, 2011, at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park.

The bride is the daughter of William and Shirley Pingley of Struthers. Parents of the groom are Juan Gonzalez of Connecticut and Marybelle Gonzalez of Youngstown.

The bride wore a diamond-white cathedral-length halter-style dress adorned with lace and crystals.

Tara Rohrbaugh, sister of the bride, was her matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Mandi Foster and Christine Humfleet, her cousins. Junior bridesmaid was Katelyn Rohrbaugh, niece of the bride, and flower girls were Madison Rohrbaugh, another of the bride’s nieces, and Destiny Gonzalez, the groom’s daughter. Attendants wore strapless sapphire-colored gowns.

Best man was Mike Rohrbaugh, the bride’s brother-in-law, and groomsmen were Jason Prieto, the groom’s brother, and Martin Hernandez, his cousin. Serving as ring bearer was the groom’s son, Shawn Gonzalez Jr.

Mrs. Gonzalez is a lead technician at CVS Pharmacy in Struthers. Mr. Gonzalez works as a contractor in Youngstown.

The couple are making their home in Struthers.
