Valley Youth Task Force being formed for April Youth Summit

YOUNGSTOWN

A Mahoning Valley Youth Task Force is being organized by ACTION in preparation for a Youth Explosion Summit on April 21.

The Alliance for Congregational Transformation Influencing Our Neighborhoods is asking organizations in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties to take three steps to help build leadership:

• Agree to have one to 10 youths serve on a youth advisory board, join an adult board or fill a leadership position in the organization.

• Attend the youth summit to recruit youth to be involved in organizations.

• Meet with young people at least three times annually to introduce them to your organization and what it does.
