Trumbull New Theatre is currently presenting “Come Blow Your Horn,” the first play by acclaimed playwright Neil Simon. Show times are at 8 p.m. tonight, and Jan. 13-14 and 20-21, and 3 p.m. Jan. 22. “Come Blow Your Horn” premiered in 1961, and launched Simon’s great career, which included more than 30 productions. Here are five of Simon’s most famous plays and musicals, and the year of their premiere:

Van Halen’s new album, “A Different Kind Of Truth,” will be released Feb. 7. The first single, “Tattoo,” and its accompanying video will debut simultaneously Tuesday.
At the concert, the band will play songs from the new album as well as its past hits, including “Running with the Devil,” “Jamie’s Cryin’,” “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love,” “Everybody Wants Some,” “Beautiful Girls” and “Jump.”
Ukraine New Year dinner-dance event

Malanka — New Year’s Eve in Ukraine — will be Jan. 28 at the Orthodox Center, 1025 N. Belle Vista Ave.
Doors open at 5 p.m.
There will be a buffet dinner from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and dancing with the Del Sinchak Band from 7 to 11 p.m. A performance by the Youngstown Area Ukrainian Dance Group will be at 6:30 p.m.
A cash bar will be available from 5 to 10:30 p.m., with a champagne toast at 10 p.m.
