Caf Capri was the setting recently when Boardman-Poland Junior Women’s League members accepted responsibility for 2012 league offices.

The slate includes: Sperry Rongone, president; Yvonne Ford, first vice president and membership chairwoman; Monica Baker, second vice president; Andrea Stamp, treasurer; Margaret Cherol, assistant treasurer; Nina Lowry, recording secretary; and Linda Crish, corresponding secretary.

Crish also was nominated club woman of the year for exemplifying the spirit and dedication of a junior club member.

Activities at the event included a candlelight ceremony where Lisa Hedrick, junior director of GFWC/Ohio Federation of Women’s Clubs, installed the following new members: Shannon Green, Jacky Thompson and Sue Mikitaw.

The group’s next meeting will take place Monday at Glenellen Senior Living on Market Street in North Lima.

BPJWL is open to all women over 18 residing in Mahoning, Trumbull or Columbiana counties.
