Fire reported at Jeep plant in Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — A small fire broke out and was quickly contained in a paint shop at a Chrysler Corp. Jeep complex here.

Chrysler spokeswoman Jodi Tinson says this morning’s fire in Toledo was in a paint shop oven. She says no one works in the oven area and that the building was never evacuated.

Tinson says no workers were injured. She says a firefighter who was coughing was taken to a hospital as a precaution.

The cause of the fire was not immediately given.
