Congress has only one pledge

Congress has only one pledge

The party of ‘No’ has signed a pledge to Mr. Grover Norquist to never raise taxes on the rich.

The national debt will never go down when you’re spending more than you’re taking in. The Republicans don’t care about the national debt. Just don’t raise taxes on the rich and corporations.

Taxes have to be raised on the rich and corporations, with no loopholes. The top 30 corporations in this country paid no taxes the last five years, and actually got tax credits. The government gives oil companies $20 billion to drill. As if they need if. They just keep gouging our eyes out.

There are 219 millionaires in Congress. No wonder they don’t want to raise taxes on the rich.

The Republicans’ only goal is to make sure President Obama does not get re-elected and no taxes on the rich or corporations.

Any Republican who is not rich or owns a corporation is naive if they think they’re being represented by the Republicans.

I hope teachers, firemen, police and state workers who voted Republican before will realize that the Republicans’ goal is to destroy the unions and so-called middle class.

These people are no better than you or I and shouldn’t be treated as royalty. They are supposed to work for us.

We need a million men and women march on Washington.

No more foreign aid, unless there is a disaster somewhere.

Abolish lobbying, No more pledges. The only pledge is to the people of this country.
