Celebrate Malanka at The Orthodox Center

The Orthodox Center, 1025 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor Malanka, New Year’s Eve in the Ukraine, on Jan. 28. Doors open at 5 p.m., a dinner buffet will be from 5:30 to 7:30, and dancing will be from 7 to 11 to the music of the Del Sinchak Band. At 6:30 p.m. Youngstown Area Ukrainian Dance Group will perform.

A cash bar will be available from 5 to 10:30 (no outside beverages permitted), and there will be a champagne toast, hats and noisemakers at 10.

Advance tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for those 6 to 18 years of age. Tickets at the door are $25 for adults and $10 for those 6 to 18. Children 5 and under are free.
