South Side man becomes Youngstown’s first shooting victim of 2012

YOUNGSTOWN

Algen Daniels, 58, of West Dewey Ave. was the city’s first shooting victim of 2012.

Youngstown police said Daniels was walking on Firnley Avenue about 12:30 a.m. Sunday when he was shot in the right leg.

He was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center for treatment.

His condition is unknown.
