Nick Fromel wins three medals in gymnastics

ALLISON PARK, PA.

Nick Fromel competed with 69 other level 5 gymnasts in five age groups at the Steel City Invitational tournament on Dec. 10-11.

He won a gold medal on the rings, a silver medal on the parallel bars, a bronze medal on the pommel horse and fourth place overall.

Fromel is a fifth-grade student at South Range Middle School and is the son of John and Susan Fromel.

Team ROC

Team ROC Elite’s 10 and under girls fast-pitch softball team placed first in the Thunder Elite Fall Softball Tournament in Liberty recently.

Members of the team were Megan Smith, Justyce Vrable, Danielle Ficeti, Chyenne Welch, Elizabeth Malczak, Julianna Hutchinson, Isabella Burrelli, Jessica White, Autumn Black and Makayla McBryar.
