What’s happening at the JCC

The Jewish Community Center will offer a variety of programs that will start in January:

Jan. 12: Dr. Armon Shayesteh, a board-certified nutritionist and diabetes instructor, will speak from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. The cost is $7 for members and $10 for nonmembers.

Jan. 12 through Feb. 23: “Sing-Along at the JCC,” under the direction of Bill Klein, every Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. in the multipurpose room. The cost is $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers. Jan. 23 through March 12: “Learn How to Play Bridge” every Monday from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m. in the adult lounge. The eight-week course requires the book “Bidding in the 21st Century.” The cost is $50 for members and $60 for nonmembers.

Jan. 24 through March 13: “Bridge Diamond Series” every Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m. in the adult lounge. The instructor will focus on the play of the hand and assumes that students are familiar with basic bidding. The cost is $50 for members and $60 for nonmembers.
