Break-in at store
YOUNGSTOWN
A white Ford Expedition rammed through and destroyed the front door of the Dollar General store in the 2000 block of Market Street about 2 a.m. Tuesday, but the male driver apparently stole only a literacy-fund donation box from the counter containing less than $3 before fleeing in the vehicle, police said.
Officers responded to the alarm and called in an assistant store manager, who showed them a security video of the breaking and entering, in which the vehicle’s large side mirrors were left behind and taken by police as evidence.
