YSU leads 45-34 at halftime of Horizon tourney opener

YSU sophomore guard Kendrick Perry scored 12 points in the first five minutes of the first half and the Penguins took a 45-34 lead at halftime of Tuesday's Horizon League tournament opener against Green Bay at Beeghly Center.

DuShawn Brooks also has 12 points at the half for the Penguins (15-14, 10-8), who led by as many as 18.
