Police ID man killed in central Pa. interstate


HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Police have identified the man who was struck and killed on a central Pennsylvania interstate highway.

Authorities said today the victim was Daniel Bruker of Lebanon.

Police say the 35-year-old Bruker was hit by a large box truck around 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 83 in Lower Paxton Township, which is near Harrisburg.

Investigators say they had received reports of someone stumbling on the interstate before the accident.

It remained unclear why Bruker was walking on the highway.

Police say the driver of the truck was not hurt.
