Mooney's McWilson, Harding's Powell make verbal commitments

Mooney junior Marcus McWilson verbally committed to Nebraska on Monday, while Warren Harding safety Jalyn Powell committed to Michigan State.

McWilson was a special mention All-Ohioan at DB last fall for the Cardinals, who won the Division III state title.

Powell was an honorable mention all-district selection last season for the Raiders, who finished 2-8.

They are the second and third area players to commit from the 2013 class, joining Fitch DL Billy Price (Ohio State).
