Valley’s Democratic Club breaks ranks with official party in Gains, Pishkur endorsements

The Mahoning Valley Democratic Club has announced its endorsements for the March 6 primary election. All unopposed Democratic candidates were unanimously endorsed by the club.

The club broke ranks with the official Mahoning County Democratic Party by endorsing incumbent Paul Gains for prosecutor and Walter J. Pishkur for county commissioner.

The party officially endorsed Jay Maecjko and David Ditzler respectively for those posts last month.
