Stephanie Gilida, Matthew White to wed in July

The parents of Stephanie Gilida of Hubbard are announcing the engagement of their daughter to Matthew White of Austintown.

Parents of the bride-elect are Richard and Deborah Gilida of Hubbard, and the prospective groom is the son of Philip and Donna White of Collierville, Tenn.

Wedding plans for the couple include an afternoon ceremony on July 7 at St. Nicholas Byzantine Church and an evening reception at The Youngstown Club, both in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for both events.

Miss Gilida graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in education and English. She holds a master’s degree in school psychology from Kent State University, where she is a graduate research assistant. She also is pursuing an educational specialist degree in school psychology from KSU, expecting to graduate in 2013.

Mr. White is a graduate of YSU with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is a sales representative for Aflac Insurance in Boardman.
