Family dinner marks Joneses’ 50th anniversary

AUSTINTOWN

John and Sandra Jones of Austintown celebrated the 50th anniversary of their marriage Feb. 25 at a family dinner hosted by their children at the Springfield Grille in Boardman.

The Jones children are Michael (Julie) Jones and Kristin (Rick) Kalna of Austintown. Five grandchildren complete the family.

Mr. Jones and the former Sandra Wilson were married Feb. 24, 1962, at Mahoning United Methodist Church in Youngstown, where the couple are members.

Mrs. Jones retired in 2003 after 42 years as a registered nurse with Forum Health in Youngstown.

Mr. Jones retired in 2000 as a brick mason in Youngstown. He served in the U. S. Army.
