Coalition to organize in the Valley to aid victims of human trafficking
CANFIELD
Mahoning Valley Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition and the Mahoning Valley Organizing Collaborative will sponsor a meeting to organize a coalition to serve victims of human trafficking from 1 to 3 p.m. March 13 at the Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road.
Michelle Hanan, executive director of Central Ohio Rescue and Restore Coalition, will conduct the free program. The Collaborative Initiative to End Human Trafficking in Cleveland, sponsored by the Humility of Mary Sisters, will participate.
This training will be geared toward social service, health- care and victim-service providers, but anyone interested may attend.
