Harding team wins 3rd quiz bowl in a row

The Warren G. Harding High School Quiz Bowl team won the Trumbull County Educational Service Center’s Prep Bowl Tournament for the third year in a row.

The TCESC academic competition engages students at various grade levels in contests to answer questions from all areas of study.

Members of the Harding team, which was coached by Kim Hunter, are Michael Coates, Joseph Angelo, Sam Eartly, Korey Gall and Patrick Shannon.

Hubbard High School was the runner-up for the high school competition.

Team members are Mark Feigert, Richard Kneubehl, James Harding, Sarah Juntonen, Randall Rogenski Jr., and Connor Spiech. Jim Harding is the coach.

The Trumbull County Educational Service Center provides educational leadership and instruction in the areas of curriculum development, special education and technology.

The center employs more than 200 teachers, therapists, psychologists, educational assistants and other specialists who work directly with approximately 3,500 students in 20 school districts.
