Dr. Erin Mulligan and Dr. Paul Shilling, both of Cleveland, were united in marriage on March 19, 2011, at Holy Family Church. Monsignor William Connell officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony.

The couple received congratulations that evening at a reception in their honor at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens in Youngstown.

Edward and Sandra Mulligan of Poland are the parents of the bride, and Michael and Barbara Shilling of Mantua, Ohio, are the groom’s parents.

The bride wore a diamond white satin ball gown fashioned with a sweetheart neckline and embellished with crystals and pearls.

Attendants for the bride were dressed in strapless scarlet dresses.

Maids of honor were Megan Mulligan and Mackenzie Mulligan, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Courtney Shilling, the groom’s sister, and Kristen Arbinger, Elisa Brown, Brie Byers and Rachel Lovati.

Andrew Brown performed the duties of best man.

Groomsmen were Jake Shilling, the groom’s brother, and Marcus Roach, Adam Etling, Jeremy Hess, Greg Keller and Erik Larsen.

After receiving a bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University and a doctoral degree in physical therapy from Walsh University, the bride is employed by the Cleveland Clinic.

The groom earned a bachelor’s degree and a doctorate, both in physical therapy, from Walsh. He is employed with Concentra Urgent Care Centers in Cleveland.

After their honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple are living in North Olmsted, Ohio.
