American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will meet at 10 a.m. March 3 in the gathering room of Park Vista, 1216 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. After the continental breakfast and business meeting, Isabelle Seavey, president of Warren-Trumbull County AAUW, will speak on “Human Trafficking in Ohio.” Suggested reading prior to the meeting is “The Slave Across the Street,” by Theresa Flores. Mill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association will celebrate its annual Woman of the Year event at 6 p.m. March 13 at Johnny’s restaurant on Market Street, Boardman. The evening will feature the announcement of the recipient of the award certificate and gift. The dinner menu will be salad, stuffed chicken breast, sirloin beef tips, cavatelli and meatballs, roasted red potatoes, sugar-snap peas and corn, bread, peppers and oil, coffee or tea and dessert. Youngstown Chapter, Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, will have an open public meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Dublin Grange, 6571 Fairground Blvd., Canfield. The program will be a book review of “Spiritual Laws That Govern Humanity and the Universe,” written by Dr. Lonnie C. Edwards, vice president, AMORC. The Rev. Harold Denny will discuss the chapter on “Creating and Maintaining Spiritual Stamina.” Refreshments will follow.
