Austintown man pleads guilty for possession of child porn
CLEVELAND — A registered sex offender, who was arrested for a parole violation at the Austintown public library, has pleaded guilty to a federal charge of possessing child pornography.
Jimmie D. Davis, 35, of Austintown, who entered his plea Wednesday before U.S. District Judge James S. Gwin, remains jailed without bond pending his 12:30 p.m. May 11 sentencing.
Davis pleaded guilty to knowingly possessing a cellular phone memory card, a thumb drive, three CDs and a desktop computer, all containing child pornography transmitted in interstate commerce. He faces 10 to 20 years in federal prison.
