A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

Feb. 9

Identity fraud: A report of identity fraud was made by a resident of the 200 block of Chapel Lane. A car was caught on video surveillance in violation of traffic laws in Cleveland and is listed in the resident’s name. The resident, however, said he never purchased the vehicle.

Feb. 15

Receiving stolen property: Police charged Devyn Bellamy, 31, of 219 Colby St., Youngstown, with receiving stolen property after an initial arrest Feb. 5 for carrying a concealed weapon.

Drug offense: Police charged Jacob Akers, 21, of 34 N. Portland Ave., Youngstown; Ashley Harrison, 20, of 1503 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown; and David Snyder, 23, of 35 Brookpark Drive, No. 5, Canfield, with drug abuse of marijuana.

Drug abuse: Police charged Drew Fisher, 28, of 4057 State Route 7, Burghill, with drug abuse of marijuana.

Feb. 18

Drug abuse: Police charged Garrett Pierce, 25, of 155 Hood Drive, Canfield, with drug abuse of marijuana.

Feb. 19

Drug abuse: Police charged Shakia Weldon, 30, of 540 W. Judson Ave., Youngstown, with drug abuse of marijuana and on a warrant for felony theft.

AUSTINTOWN

Feb. 13

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Matthew Donofrio, 20, of 4259 Mahoning Ave., for possession of marijuana.

Theft: $59.01 in fuel was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Fraud: Unauthorized purchases were made with a debit card at a home in the 2000 block of Woodgate Street.

Feb. 14

Identity theft: Taxes were filed using the victim’s name and Social Security number at a home in the 4000 block of Westwood Avenue.

Criminal damaging: The hood on a vehicle was scratched at Belleria Pizza, 3460 S. Meridian Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Tamika Sanders, 32, of 287 Athens Drive, on a warrant for failure to appear on traffic violations.

Feb. 15

Theft: Vitamins were reported stolen at an apartment in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.

Theft: A total of 25, 5-Hour energy drinks valued at $142.25 were stolen at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $78.36 worth of perfume and cologne was stolen at Kmart.

Theft: Police charged Kerisha Wallace, 21, of 1388 N. Osborn Ave., Youngstown, with the theft of a pair of pants valued at $19.80 at Dots, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Feb. 16

Theft: Customers walked out on a food bill at Davidson’s, 3636 Canfield Road.

Theft: A cellphone was reported stolen in the 5000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: A prescription and gas card were stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 4000 block of Lanterman Road.

Theft: A General Lee CB radio was stolen from an auto parked at United Freezer and Storage Co., 650 block of N. Meridian Road.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account in the 100 block of South Edgehill Avenue.

Breaking and entering: A vacant home was entered and copper was stolen in the 60 block of Lexington Place.

Domestic violence: Police charged Sherri Monteneri, 25, of 65 N. Roanoke Ave., with the crime.

Burglary: An ex-husband is a suspect in a burglary at a home in the 90 block of Edgewater Drive.

Feb. 17

Theft: A suspect was returning items for gift cards at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Drive.

Breaking and entering: A camera and case were stolen and a window was damaged at Suburban Insurance, 1416 S. Raccoon Road.

Breaking and entering: An unattached garage was broken into and a chain saw and concrete saw were stolen from a garage in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.

Assault: A female was assaulted by two subjects in the 1700 block of Kerrybrook Apartments.

Forgery: A forged check was reported at Chase Bank, 4243 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A cellphone was taken at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Disorderly conduct: Police charged Randall Alif, 55, of 4885 Westchester Drive. Apt. 24, for disorderly conduct at the Westchester Apartments.

Feb. 18

Theft: A bicycle was reported stolen and was found later at a home in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Drug offense: Police charged John Thomas, 51, of 2637 Stocker Ave., Youngstown, with drug abuse for possession of cocaine after his arrest on South Meridian Road.

Warrant: Police issued a warrant to Le’Ray Jackson, 20, of 3232 Meridyth Lane, for a probation violation.

Domestic violence: Police charged Ray Brown II, 31, 1031 Compass West, Apt. 9, after his arrest at his girlfriend’s apartment and also charged him with illegal possession of a weapon and for having a warrant out of Hubbard Township.

Feb. 19

Vehicle theft: A 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle was reported stolen in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A Chevrolet S-10 tailgate was taken in the 5 block of South Edgehill Avenue.

Disorderly conduct: Police charged Nicholas Rolfe, 18, of 2547 Bainbridge St., and Michael Sakacs, 21, of 5135 New Road, with the crime after their arrest in the 2000 block of Kirkhaven Drive.

Theft: Lawn ornaments were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Westwood Drive.

Liquor violation: Twenty-seven underage youths were at an underage party in the 1000 block of North Meridian Road and alcohol, suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia were taken at the scene.

Lost or stolen: A purse was reported missing and either lost or stolen at Regal Cinemas, 6020 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Prescription pills were taken from a home in the 1000 block of Lancaster Drive.

Assault: A victim was assaulted by two males at Shotz, 3713 Oakwood Ave.

Obstructing official business: Police issued a summons to Dale Peterman, 20, of 1894 Cordova Ave., Youngstown, for obstructing official business, and to Davion Rogers, 20, of 2044 Ferndale Ave. SW, Warren, for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Theft: A new bartender stole $70 from the register at Wyle E. Coyote Saloon, 4176 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Tools, clothing and medication were stolen from an auto parked at Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: A PlayStation2, television, wallet, undetermined amount of cash and medication were taken from a home in the 60 block of Lexington Place.
