BAZAARS

Salem Memorial Building Association will host its annual Spring Arts & Crafts Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 9 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 10. Seasonal items and gifts will be featured, as well as locally made arts and crafts and a basket auction. Vendors may call 330-332-5512 or stop at the Memorial Building, 785 E. State St., Salem, to register. An 8-foot table with chairs costs $25.

CARD, BINGO PARTIES

Girard Eagles 2172 Auxiliary, 26 W. Wilson Ave., Girard, will have a card and bingo party at 2 p.m. March 4. Doors will open at noon for lunch, which includes sloppy joes and potato chips for $5. Canned-good donations are being accepted for the Needy in Girard Christmas project and will be exchanged for a free card.

CRAFT SHOWS

Ladies of St. Maron Church, 1555 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown, are looking for vendors as they prepare for their first Fall Craft, Antique and Flea Market. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 8 at the St. Maron Recreational Area. Vendor spaces cost $35. For information call 330-533-9337.

South Range Middle School PTO is seeking vendors for its second annual craft show scheduled for March 10. Tables can be rented for $25 by calling 330-533-6509 or emailing kmckee@southrange.org. The application process must be completed by Saturday.

FUNDRAISERS

Campbell Senior Citizen Benefactors Corp. is sponsoring a reverse raffle fundraiser at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Church hall, 159 Reed Ave., Campbell. Proceeds will help to purchase a Senior Citizen Center on Roosevelt Drive, adjacent to city hall. The cost is $50 per person or $70 per couple. The buffet style dinner is BYOB. QUILT SHOWS

Wilmington Township-Mercer County Civic League Quilters are sponsoring a quilt show, in which a variety of locally crafted quilts will be on display from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 17 at Wilmington Township Municipal Building, 35 Auction Road, New Wilmington, Pa. Featured this year will be Becky Cosgrove’s quilts. Admission is $2, refreshments will be available, and some quilts for sale will be included in the display. A Dresden Plate quilt will be raffled. Tickets may be purchased for $1 each or six for $5. Proceeds benefit the league’s scholarship fund. For information call 724-946-8074.

RAFFLES

St. Patrick Home and School will have its 11th annual 200 Club Reverse Raffle on Saturday in the church hall, 367 N. Main St., Hubbard. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails, and dinner will be served at 7. The raffle begins at 8. Tickets cost $50 each and include one dinner. Additional dinner tickets can be bought for $15 each. The grand prize will be $2,500, and total prize money is $3,000. A basket auction also will take place throughout the evening. SALES

Columbiana Women’s Club, 121 N. Main St., is planning its third annual prom-gown sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 3 and from 1 to 4 p.m. March 4. There will be many styles, colors and sizes available, most selling for $25 to $75. Next-to-new gowns may be dropped off to sell from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. A handling fee of $5 per gown will be charged, with money from sold gowns going to owners.

TOPS Chapter 2191 will host a trash and treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 5 at the Wickliffe Presbyterian Church, 45 Idlewood Road, Austintown. Tables are available for $10 and are limited to one per vendor. For information or to reserve a table call Kerry Price at 330-799-2894.

Turning Point No Limits Alternative Center, 5512 Youngstown-Poland Road, is looking for vendors for its upcoming rummage sale to take place from 4 to 8 p.m. March 30 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 31. Tables cost $10 a day for vendors. To register call 330-881-5038.

TRIPS

Boardman Rotary’s Relay for Life Team is sponsoring a bus trip to Rivers Casino on March 3. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. The cost is $30, with $15 in free play plus a $5 food voucher. The bus will leave at 11 a.m. from the rear of St. Nicholas Hall in Struthers and return at 7 p.m. Make checks payable to Boardman Rotary Relay For Life Team and mail to Jeff Janci, 3170 Highland Ave., Poland, OH 44514. Jehovah’s House of Prayer Church of God in Christ is sponsoring a shopping trip to New York City March 31 to April 1. Shopping will be in Queens, Chinatown and Harlem. Payment of $85 is due by March 9 and is nontransferable and nonrefundable. The departure from Liberty Plaza will be at midnight behind Arby’s; there will be a 6 a.m. stop for breakfast, shopping all day, then 9 p.m. departure, with arrival Sunday morning. Relay for Life, Team Rachel, is sponsoring a trip to Mountaineer Casino on March 10. Boarding begins at 9:30 a.m. in the parking lot of St. Edward Church, 240 Tod Lane, Youngstown, and the bus will leave at 10.
