2 Pa. schools talking about affiliation

SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) — The University of Scranton and Commonwealth Medical College say they are talking about a “possible” affiliation.

The (Scranton) Times-Tribune says the two schools signed an agreement Monday to continue talks through next month.

They said they will engage in a wider discussion about “complex questions and issues” surrounding a possible affiliation.
