Tammy Reed, Nicholas Lyons to wed in Texas

Ray and Valerie Reed of Poland are announcing the engagement and coming marriage of their daughter, Tammy Reed, to Nicholas Lyons, both of Katy, Texas.

The prospective groom is the son of Tommy and Freda Lyons of Houston, and Kate Lyons of Washington, D.C.

The Houston Arboretum and Nature Center has been chosen as the setting for the April 28 wedding, and a reception following the ceremony will take place at Lomonte’s Italian Restaurant in Houston.

Invitations will be extended for both events.

The bride-elect graduated from Waynesburg University with a bachelor’s degree in forensic science. She is a firearms examiner with the Houston Police Department.

After attending the University of New Orleans, Mr. Lyons is employed as an HSSE Project Coordinator with Spitzer Orizon Industries in Brookshire, Texas.
