New Castle man faces indecent assault charges against 10-year-old

New castle, PA

A 31-year-old New Castle man faces charges of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of minors after Shenango Township police say he inappropriately touched a 10-year-old girl at the Lawrence Village Plaza.

Scott C. Walker of South Croton Avenue is accused of the indecent assault about 1:30 p.m. Monday. Police say he made inappropriate comments to the girl about her behind and then grabbed it three times. The girl told her mother, and after calling police, Walker was arrested. He was arraigned Saturday and placed on $25,000 bond.

Walker is on probation for similar offenses, police said.
